THE WEDDING PRESENT、この年末まで続く長期ツアーが英バーミンガムBarflyからスタートしました。前回のツアーからセットリストが刷新されましたが...まさか1曲目からあれが！まさかあのカヴァーが！約18年ぶりにあれが！もう興奮を禁じ得ない内容です。

"The Thing I Like Best About Him Is His Girlfriend"のアルバム・ヴァージョンのイントロに乗ってメンバーがステージに登場し、のっけからまさかの反則技。"Kennedy"で始まるライヴは旧TWP時代にも数えるほどしか無かったはず。そしていつかステージで復活する事を願っていた"Granadaland"、"Lovenest"は待望の選曲。前者は1990年以来、後者は（初来日年である）1993年以来となるセットリスト入り。"Lovenest"はかつてとは異なり、デイヴィッドのスライドで奏でられるイントロがアルバム・ヴァージョンに忠実なプレイになっています。そしてGB20ツアーで初めてアルバム・ヴァージョンのアレンジで演奏された"My Favorite Dress"に続いて演奏されたのは、今回最大のサプライズ選曲。初期アンコールの定番曲、Girls At Our Best のカヴァー"Getting Nowhere Fast"まさかのセットリスト入り。昨年のGB20ツアーでも演奏されなかったので、これ相当意外なチョイスです。これもステージでの演奏は1987年以来というから実に21年ぶり!!他にもこちらも久しぶりの"Snake Eyes"（'96年12月のツアー以来の登場）、新作からもライヴで聴きたかった人気曲"Boo Boo"がエンディングに選ばれるなど、近年のツアー中ではベストなセットかもしれません。

9/18、米サンディエゴCasbah公演から北米〜カナダを廻る日程がスタートしましたが、レギュラーセットにさらに1曲、"Dalliance"の後に"Dare"が追加。『Seamonsters』冒頭を飾った最強のコンボが再現される事になりました。このステージからの"Boo Boo"がYouTubeにアップされていますので、リンクしておきます。

9/19、L.A. Troubadour公演では"Getting Nowhere Fast"の替わりに"Interstate 5"[single (2004) & Take Fountain (2005)]が演奏され、その後も北米の日程では演奏されない事がほとんど。オリジナルのGirls At Our Bestがあまり北米では馴染みがないせいかもしれません。ちなみに9/19の夜には、俳優のキアヌ・リーヴスが見に来ていました（実はTWPファン）。

日程がヨーロッパに入ってから"You Should..."、"Granadaland"、"Flying Saucer"が落とされて、"Getting Nowhere Fast"が復活。"Crawl"のあとに"Come Play With Me" [single (1992) & The Hit Parade (2003)]が加わる、下記の様なセットになっています。
